“AVANT ARTE”, an edition platform based in Netherlands, which handles prints of numerous contemporary artists, has produced prints of original work painted by Hideaki Kawashima.
Fan (Mishima), an edition of 30, places a framed portrait of novelist Yukio Mishima on the wall behind the artwork’s subject. Fah (Hand-finished), an edition of 20, fills the same frame with a series of hand-painted portraits inspired by archetypal ojisan.

Using the Archival Pigment Print, a printing technique perfect for high-quality, high durability, and long-term storage, the prints are richly finished as if sprayed with pigments.

The prints will be released on Avant Arte from November 15.
