This exhibition Kishio Suga: Work from the 1970s and 1980s will be held concurrently with Divided Orientation of Space at Tomio Koyama Gallery in Roppongi, introducing Suga’s early work from the 1970s and 1980s as well as his recent international achievements.
The exhibition will feature sculptures, drawings and photographic documentation of his fieldworks from the 1970 and 1980s, a film documenting “activation”, and installation views of his recent solo exhibitions at Pirelli foundation’s HangarBicocca in Milan and Dia:Chelsea in New York. It’s a rare opportunity to view Suga’s longstanding artistic career spanning 50 years and his new work at the same time.
